Just a quick note to point out how NOT to be

I suppose that this is kind of judgmental and harsh for erev yom kippur, and that perhaps I should be spending more time on introspection and self-criticism rather than pointing out the flaws in others, BUT, sometimes when wrongness stares you in the face, you can’t ignore it. And here is wrongness. Ron Paul, a Republican representative from Texas and Presidential candidate, has gotten the endorsement of the Constitution Party, the head of which has stated that “Rep. Paul believes, correctly, that the Bible is the infallible, inerrant word of God and thus it is not the role of God-ordained civil government, at any level, to feed, house, clothe, or educate anybody.”
No, no, no, no, no, no. It is hard to fathom how anyone could get scripture so completely backwards wrong, but there it is. Anyone who thinks that has a lot more repentance than me to do tomorrow, and I have quite a bit.
OK, there endeth the sermon.
Have an easy and productive fast, everyone!

if they were ever elected...

this bunch would bring back the stocks, the scarlett letter, and shuffle off non christians to the corners, if they even diegned to give them a place, in government and civil affairs.

Doubt that Mister Paul is very happy about the endorsement.

and if he is it makes me sure not to vote for him.
