Current Music: The Nights And Days - Split
Well, apparently we are getting a pet anole, which we used to call “chameleons” when I was little, even though we knew that they weren’t really chameleons. They have been studying them in Meret’s class, and she gets to take one home to keep when they are done with them. I used to have some of these when I was little, but they never lived very long, so...
Anyone know anything about these guys? Any advice? So far the permission to get one has been a very effective blackmailing/parenting tool.

p.s. I am still waiting on those embarrassing songs you liked. I showed you mine!

I have tortoises, but in general makes sure it has proper heat and light (UVB!) and water.

Tortoises are awesome:) But I'm not sure they make good pets for kids - they mostly just sit there and bask, and they can live up to 50 years.
