Der Feuhrer's Face

What makes someone loathsome?

Current Mood: stressedstressed
Current Music: Blind Lemon Jefferson - Hangman's Blues
I found this list of the 50 most loathsome people in America for 2005. Do you agree? I agree with somewhere around 85 or 90% of their list, but I have a few differences; what do you think?

Yeah, some of them were weird- I assumed that the author was just trying to stir some shit, or just not be TOTALLY predictable.
I enjoyed the Tom Cruise one.

Thanks! I stole it from someone, I think gynocide. I believe it is from the Disney cartoon "Der Fuhrer's Face."

Dunno, I just don't share this hatred for Hillary.

Me either, although I see where it comes from on the left side.

That was so excellent, I took an excerpt.

I took some umbrage at being named #4, but then again, so did everyone else. Sometimes I'm most mad at the American people for simply being so ... loathsome. So I technically agree.

However, Michael D. Brown's spot at #35 is insanity. He's in the fucking top 5, most certainly.

I agree with you on both points.

I agree with putting Pat Robertson first. The guy was begging for it.

I think he was kinda harsh on Martha Stewart.

Not all of George Lucas's films were bad. But the most recent ones do merit him being put on the list.

I think it is precisely because of his early films that Lucas belongs on there. I don't know if I would put him in the top 50, but the criticism is warranted. He asked for it.

The constitution thing is no big deal. Bush can void it because there is a war on.

Marrying Liz Taylor was cool, except for how she sometimes referred to him as "Senator Stupid". (As I have mentioned before, merely being stupid puts you in the top half of Virginia senators over the last fifty years. Warner's real coup was his first wife, a Mellon. The story goes that he selected dates by comparing college yearbook pictures with social register entries. The first wife bought him the car dealership, which is where he made his money. I don't know how many ex wives he has, but apparently he is on good terms with all. That and blocking Ollie North elevate him above loathsome.

Forget the list--- I also dig Blind Lemon Jefferson. Check out my blog--I friended you.

This list in terms of content was ho-hum PC ad nauseum. The most loathsome person in America is the complier of the list. He is vicious, stupid and uncaring and betrays a lack of human understanding worthy of PETA (People for the Treatment of Everyone Like an Animal).

He should be whipped soundly and sent to bed without supper. In the morning send him out to get a real job doing something useful for society, like shining shoes of homeless people for tips. A little more humility, please.
