An unexpected report from the BBC concerns a letter sent to the president of Iran from that country's Jewish community concerning several of his recent remarks. Interestingly enough, the letter seems savvy enough to argue that they are contrary to the spirit of the Islamic revolution and the Ayatollah Khameini. I would love to read a translation of this letter (since my Farsi is a bit rusty), if anyone has one.
I didn't realize that there were that many Jews left in Iran and that they were organized to that degree. I suppose that the real question now is: how many will there be next week?

I wish world leaders (the muslim ones anyway) would spend less time worrying about conspiracies (and such) and more time leading. At this point I wouldn't even care if there was some huge jewish conspiracy to do X, that jews are behind everything in the world and even faked the holocaust (or whatever people say) because I'm so sick of it.

Sorry, what I mean to say was: you jews, stop trying to take over the world and we'll stop blaming you for it.

I wouldn't be paranoid if everyone wasn't after me. ;-)
