I saw an article in the weekly world news that said that they were opening Starbuck's in Poland, and their main drink was going to be called a cafe zlatte!

that's funny! the preposition "z" means (among other things) "with" so it's like french-polish-italian. Guess it sounds better than "kawa z mlekiem." Tho that's only "coffee with milk." Dunno how you'd say the equivalent of latte in Polish.

Plus it's a nice pun on the currency, at least in English.

It goes beyond my Polish to know what that means. It was a fairly erudite joke to be in the Weekly World News, I thought. I just saw it, and got the zloty/zlatte thing and thought I would pass it along.
