Borat really may be the funniest movie ever made. It is really really good. No two ways about it. The concept is good, the execution is also very good; the editing is brilliant. There is just enough story to keep it moving along, but not so much that it overpowers what the movie is really trying to do.
Who is being made the most fun of? Kazakhs? Americans? The people in the film? The audience?
A must see.

My parents (yeah, 60 something year old) went to see it. Nonetheless, they didn't get it...and they also said it was really anti-semetic. I didn't want to get into it with them that Sacha Baron Cohen is Jewish...and that it's satire.

That's too bad that they didn't get it. But don't let that dissuade you.
I was actually thinking that my Dad would have loved it, but you never know. He had weird taste in movies.

Well, it is short (the one failing) and I would totally recommend taking in an early evening show or something...it is SO worth it.

Apparently two of those fraternity brothers in the RV are suing now, saying the producers got them drunk first when they agreed to be in the movie and the name of their frat was not supposed to be mentioned.

I could have lived without the balls in the face fight and the Pam Anderson thread, but whatev, I agree. Great movie!
