Packing. I am supposedly doing that now, although it is not really getting that much done. On the up side, I have lots of anxiety about it!
I am not even really moving anywhere- I am packing up my old apartment and am going to move some bookshelves (and books) and such over to Stefanie’s place, which since I am paying rent is now Stefanie’s and my place, and a bunch into a storage locker I rented. So I get to have more of my stuff in a place where I have already been living. It hardly seems worth it. It will be nice having my desktop computer there, but still, ugh. I hate hate hate packing up all my stuff. It is a task that always seems endless and overwhelming and producing of anxiety attacks, of which I am just coming out of one now enough to feel the keyboard with my fingers enough to type.
Wish me luck.

I'm not even done fully moving all my things into our new apartment. The one great thing though about consolidating both of our stuff is that, even if we only live here a year, by the next move I have to make there will be so much of our joint stuff I won't have to even think about packing and shlepping it all myself; we'll have no choice but to hire movers to do most of the work.

Mazal tov to you and Stefanie on this important step. Yes packing and moving sucks but so does paying 2 rents.

Chessler's Law

Two moves = one fire.

here's the luck wish. ask stef- i always flip out when i have to pack and move. i'm glad to know i'm not the only one. i probably am the only one that fully disolves and cries a little, though. i always try to think how nice it will be when it's done, and sometimes that gets me through the actual crummy part of having to figure it all out!
