Normally, Stefanie and I really enjoy the show ‘House,’ but last night’s episode, which was came after a hiatus, was REALLY CRAPPY. It pissed me off because it was mega-unrealistic and spread lies about some treatments. Wag of the finger to this normally interesting and accurate show.

The whole court case-vicodin addict thing was interesting, but the actual medical case on the show was handled in a way that is personally offensive to me (which is not entirely their fault) and also in a way that was completely illogical and out of character for everyone involved. Whoever writes that aspect of the show totally phoned this one in. Booooo.

I actually wouldn't describe House as accurate by any means, but I agree that the most recent episode was hopelessly muddled and a lot of things in it rang really really false (resisting being specific so I don't spoil anyone.) I'm glad someone else thinks so too.

Well not realistic, certainly, but accurate in the sense that, at least according to my doctor relatives in the sense that they generally get the terminology, diseases, and general treatments for them at least in the ballpark of what is actually done.
